Responding to information circulating on Facebook that other individuals may be attempting to use our name and brand for personal gain, we want to remind Žalgirisshop.lt customers and our followers about recommendations for safe behavior in social media.

• Never open links or other types of messages sent to you on social networks or via email from unreliable senders. Cyber scammers try to obtain your personal information and/or mislead you into entering this data yourself through suspicious links, thereby easily obtaining a copy of it. In such cases, first, you should pay attention to the browser field and check whether the opened link leads to a secure login website (such a website is indicated by the symbols "https" at the beginning of the internet address). You should also pay attention to whether the website address is familiar and if it matches the content; do not use other website addresses or abbreviations.
• When shopping online or participating in social media contests, never fill out additional forms, questionnaires, etc., if they are requested for reasons other than your initial purchase, and under no circumstances provide your bank details if it is not related to the purchase of a specific product or service. If such data is requested for purposes other than making a product or service purchase, you can almost always be sure that you have been targeted by cyber scammers.
• If you suspect that you have become a victim of online fraud and may have disclosed your personal or online banking login details or made a payment transfer, immediately inform your bank.
• If you suspect that cyber scammers have obtained your data by using another company's name, immediately contact the administration of that company.
